Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain along with Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed on Wednesday visited Melody Relief and Rehabilitation Units and inquired after health of the patients admitted there and distributed Eidi among them.

Talking on the occasion, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain appreciated the volunteerism of owners of the medical unit for dedicating themselves for that noble cause.

Chaudhry Shujaat assured them all possible help in his personal capacity and on behalf of Government. He said Government would provide all treatment facilities to the earthquake injured.

On request of the owner of the Centre for provision of gas connection, Chaudhry Shujaat assured them special domestic gas connection would soon be provided to the centre.

Inayatullah Khattak has turned the Melody cinema into a hospital where only women victims of the devastating earthquake are being treated.

Currently there are only 26 female injured patients whereas 30 doctors and paramedics are providing best treatment facilities to them. The hospital has the capacity of 80 patients. So far 40 patients have been provided treatment in the hospital.

At the moment, the owner of Melody cinema Mrs Inamullah Khattak is meeting all expenditures of the hospitals while her friends and volunteers are also helping in this noble cause.

"The response of people is also encouraging and daily thousands of donations are being collected here, however, more is needed from the Government and NGOs", Attique Khattak commented.
